Mr. Siddiqui has completed his BA Sc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. During his time in Canada, he worked for a diverse range of businesses, from oil & gas companies to engineering design/consulting, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Ashar is one of the founding members of JINN Petroleum along with Aamir Raza Aga (late). He played a pivotal role during the company's infancy stage, including brand design, team formation, and early retail site induction. In 2018 he assumed the role of Advisor to the CEO where he was integral in forming company policies, such as SOPs and LAMs, which laid down the foundation of the organisation. Soon after, he assumed additional charge as ED Operations & Engineering. In 2020, he was appointed COO where he effectively led day-to-day operations and coordinated between the CEO and all other departments to ensure efficiency. During his tenure, he quickly grasped all aspects of the oil industry ranging from Finance, Operations, engineering, Retail, and Admin & HR. His team-building skills allow effective long and short term strategy building and execution on a daily basis.
